Well, i got sick of drawing “pretty” things and i really have no idea what this even is -_-

So many people have ideas, but only a fraction of those people pay their dues to learn how to execute their ideas. The rest just remain fans of those who have learned how, and every year that goes by they lament the time they’ve wasted not learning how to do it themselves.

WIP of some random amazon type painting im working on. Mainly started it as an excuse to make a speed painting video. Wish I could upload larger video files on here (not a huge fan of YouTube), so far I’ve condensed around 2-3hrs of painting to about 12 minutes.
I’m a slow worker at times so I have to try not to make it too long. Need to get proper video editing software to cut out the pauses, sometimes i forget i’m recording and go off and make a cup of tea or alt tab to some random website -_-

Finally found motivation to finish an old sketch i’ve had lying around for literally years in the form of a meme!
This was inspired this pic by the lovely awesomely talented Dianne Ozdamer. I just LOVE her work and have always wanted to do an underwater mermaid/siren type creature.
